To assess feasibility, we tracked recruitment, retention, and intervention implementation and delivery (ie, frequency, number, and duration of meetings). These groups meet regularly in order to provide each other with advice, comfort, and encouragement. Many people have never met anyone else with an eating disorder, or someone who has recovered. Participants said they were aware that clinicians and the hospital were required to provide emergency dialysis rather than standard outpatient dialysis because of state policies. Some people are currently in treatment, others may only be starting to realize that they have a problem.
